The Schipp Road Walk is a lovely but more challenging 4km hike in the City of Kalamunda. Jorgensen Park, situated on the old Kalamunda Golf Course, offers the best of both worlds. You can wander across the old fairways exploring as you go or you can take the 2.7km loop Jorgensen Park Walk Trail which incorporates the fairways with bush trails including sections of the Bibbulmun Track. This interpretive trail follows Piesse Brook in Kalamunda National Park to Rocky Pool before returning the same way, a round trip of 3.4 km taking around an hour all up. After an early start to enjoy a delicious breakfast at Mason and Bird Cafe in Kalamunda our group set off to explore Whistlepipe Gully in Mundy Regional Park.
