The Yange Kep Bidi, (translation Wetland Trail) lies on Whadjuk Noongar land and meanders around various wetlands located between Claremont and Galup - Lake Monger. At 21km it covers a considerable distance and is a full days walk end to end however you can easily break it into shorter sections and complete loops back to your starting point. Yange Kep Bidi links with the heritage of intersecting or overlapping trails including the Claremont Meanders - Cobblers and Convicts

Lake Claremont is a beautiful wetland which is a nesting site for turtles, swans and other waterbirds. You can walk or cycle around the lake's 2.5 km flat dual use path. The well shaded path around the lake takes around 45 minutes to walk but with a bird hide, three playgrounds, a cafe and lots of wide open green spaces you could easily make a day of it! We started our walk from the Claremont Golf Course car park on Lapsley Road. The Tee Box Cafe is located within the golf
