Rocky Pool Walk - Kalamunda National Park
Rocky Pool is a fabulous place to visit but there is some confusion on the best way to get there. This trail is called the Rocky Pool Walk and it does go to Rocky Pool by way of a 5km loop from Spring Road in Kalamunda. It is a long way around and there are shorter options listed below. We were following the trail notes published by the Shire of Kalamunda but have found these confusing in the past and this time was no different as we "lost" the trail at some point and found

Schipp Road Walk - Kalamunda National Park
The Schipp Road Walk is a lovely but more challenging 4km hike in the City of Kalamunda. The name is a bit of a misnomer as the trail turns off Schipp Road to complete a loop, part of which follows the Bibbulmun Track. Download your preferred trail information and map for the Schipp Road Walk from the City of Kalamunda website. To get to the trail head turn off Hummerston Road and follow the gravel Schipp Road, a generally well maintained but narrow road, a few hundred me

Jorgensen Park, Kalamunda
Jorgensen Park, situated on the old Kalamunda Golf Course, offers the best of both worlds. You can wander across the old fairways exploring as you go or you can take the 2.7km loop Jorgensen Park Walk Trail which incorporates the fairways with bush trails including sections of the Bibbulmun Track. The trail has some inclines but is generally easy going. The track is reasonably wide until you venture on to sections of Bibbulmun where the track narrows down to single use. T

This is a popular day trip destination and there is plenty to fill your day. Mundaring Weir is located in natural bushland in the Perth Hills and there are a number of bushwalking trails you can enjoy before settling down for a picnic and exploring the herit

The Dell to South Ledge - Beelu National Park - Mundaring
This is a longer 8-9 km walk through Beelu National Park starting from The Dell and following a loop trail via South Ledge picnic area where you can detour to the Golden View Lookout. It is a lovely forested walk with views down the Helena River Valley and across to Mundaring Weir and C.Y. O'Connor Reservoir. Parts of this trail follow the Munda Biddi Cycle Trail, the Winjan Track and the Bibbulmun Track respectively. We parked at The Dell off Mundaring Weir Road. The Mu
